Business Data Analyst
Job Purpose
- Analyze business and market data using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and data insights for management decision-making.
- Coordinate and manage regular Corporate Planning meetings and follow-up actions.
- Support chamber engagement activities and external stakeholder coordination.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations, reports, and management materials.
- Perform other duties and assignments as directed by HOD.
Job Description
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, clean, and interpret data from multiple sources to derive accurate and meaningful insights.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to support departmental and organizational objectives until the final results are achieved.
- Prepare draft analytical reports and develop innovative methods to present findings through dashboards, visuals, or other data products.
- Ensure data accuracy by validating weekly and monthly reporting files against existing datasets.
- Provide regular data reports and insights to relevant business stakeholders in a timely manner.
Business Engagement and Communication:
- Manage Chamber engagements, including membership benefits and comparative analysis of membership benefit programs.
- Handle Corporate Planning Department communications, including email announcements, meeting notices, stakeholder engagement and other internal updates.
Meeting Coordination and Administrative Support:
- Organize meeting logistics such as invitations, room bookings, seating arrangements, and related administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of meetings and ensure effective coordination across departments.
Continuous Improvement:
- Recommend enhancements to data collection, reporting, and communication processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Support other strategic or administrative tasks as assigned by the department head.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business Administration, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
