Claims Handler

Job Description

  • After receiving the registration claim cases from Manager or receiving email from branches, establish the case.
  • Request the necessary documents such as police recommendation, estimates and invoices from customers and concerned branches.
  • Calculate Reinstatement Premium for each case and check details of claims processes.
  • After completing the case, approve up to MMK 100,000 claim amount and submit to Manager above MMK 100,000.
  • Put the required information and documents in TCS system.
  • Scan the documents and submit to Finance by the approval of Manager, Expert Advisor of Motor Claims and HOD.
  • Check bank draft and money transaction.
  • Communicate with Underwriting department, all branches, and customers to perform claims processes efficiently.
  • Report the weekly work accomplishment list to manager.
  • Do monthly and annual report and work on the reports which are requested periodically by internal audit, external audit and etc. Improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Any bachelor’s degree and minimum one year of working experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and internal personal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
