Data Miner – Senior Associate
Job Description
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
- Develop end-to-end business analytics and reporting solutions using Microsoft services and Power Platform.
- Perform data quality audits, identify data collection issues and suggest/implement fixes.
- Backup data from different data sources to a data lake on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis and ensure data quality and integrity.
- Design and implement BI solutions, including dashboards and reports, utilizing Power BI to enhance business decision-making processes.
- Manage delivery of dashboards and reports to executives and other stakeholders in the company ensuring they meet deadlines and standards.
- Maintain and update data dashboards on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
- Ensure data provided in reports and dashboards is highly accurate and reliable.
- Perform any other related ad hoc reports requested by internal departments.
Job Requirements
- Demonstrates proven working experience as a data analyst or similar roles, with strong analytical skills, capable of data analysis, trends identification, and result reporting.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Excel, SQL, Python and DAX
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI
Design, code, and implement Power App and Power Automate products interfacing with SharePoint sites is a plus. - Experience with Cloud services: AWS will be an added advantage.
- At least Bachelor’s Degree (master’s degree preferred) in Computer Science and Data Science or any graduate with equivalent experience.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and delivery.
