Finance Business Partner
Job Description
Strategic Financial Planning:
- Partner with business leaders to develop financial strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the budgeting process for assigned business units, ensuring budgets are aligned with strategic goals.
- Prepare and present financial forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze financial performance, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis.
- Produce and present accurate financial reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Performance Management:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track financial performance against targets.
- Conduct regular financial reviews with business unit leaders to discuss performance and areas for improvement.
Cost Management:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend actions to optimize costs without compromising business objectives.
- Support initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Support risk management initiatives by identifying financial risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with business unit leaders and other key stakeholders, communicating financial results and concepts clearly and effectively to non-financial audiences.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting, while keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices in finance and business partnering.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance role, with a focus on financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
