Finance Business Partner

Job Description

Strategic Financial Planning:

  • Partner with business leaders to develop financial strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the budgeting process for assigned business units, ensuring budgets are aligned with strategic goals.
  • Prepare and present financial forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze financial performance, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis.
  • Produce and present accurate financial reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Performance Management:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track financial performance against targets.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews with business unit leaders to discuss performance and areas for improvement.

Cost Management:

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend actions to optimize costs without compromising business objectives.
  • Support initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Support risk management initiatives by identifying financial risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with business unit leaders and other key stakeholders, communicating financial results and concepts clearly and effectively to non-financial audiences.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting, while keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices in finance and business partnering.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance role, with a focus on financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
