Motor Underwriting-Assistant Manager
Job Description
- Responsible for leading the motor underwriting team, ensuring effective risk assessment, compliance with regulations, and the development of underwriting policies.
- This role involves strategic oversight of underwriting operations, collaboration with all departments, and continuous improvement of processes to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Work closely with IT, claims, sales, and branches to ensure seamless operations and communication.
- Review and analyze motor cases, assessing risks and making informed decisions on policy acceptance or rejection.
- Report to the Department Head and Head of Underwriting.
Job Requirements
- Any Graduate.
- Leadership abilities and Team Management.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Collaboration with all departments and branches.
- Knowledge of motor insurance products, underwriting principles, and relevant regulations.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Problem Solving Skill.
- Experience in general insurance industry (Operation – Motor Underwriting), at least 3 years in a managerial role.
