Performance Management & HR Projects Manager

Job Purpose

The Performance Management & HR Projects Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving the organization’s performance management framework while leading strategic HR projects that drive organizational effectiveness, employee performance, digital transformation, and business growth.
The role serves as the strategic partner to the Head of HR in establishing a high-performance culture through effective performance management practices, data-driven decision making, HR digitalization, and project governance. The incumbent will oversee enterprise-wide initiatives including Performance Management, Team Challenge Program, , HR Analytics, HR Process Improvement, and other strategic HR transformation projects.
Working closely with HR team members, department heads, senior management, IT, Finance, and external vendors, the role ensures that HR initiatives are aligned with corporate objectives and successfully implemented across the organization.

Job Description

1. Performance Management
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s performance management framework to foster a high-performance culture.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company’s Performance Management Framework.
• Lead the annual KPI setting by department and individual, cascading, and alignment process across all departments.
• Coordinate the mid-year and year-end performance review cycles.
• Facilitate KPI calibration sessions to ensure consistency and fairness across the organization.
• Monitor departmental and organizational KPI achievement and recommend improvement actions.
• Develop performance dashboards and executive reports for management review.
• Support promotion, succession planning, and salary review decisions through performance analysis.
• Review and enhance performance evaluation tools, rating methodologies, and assessment criteria.
• Ensure performance management practices are aligned with business strategy and organizational objectives.
• Provide guidance and coaching to managers on effective performance management practices.
• Analyze performance trends and recommend initiatives to improve organizational productivity.
2. Team Challenge (TC) Management
• Design and manage the quarterly bonus scheme Team Challenge (TC) framework.
• Coordinate quarterly target-setting with business leaders and department heads.
• Facilitate alignment meetings with Senior Management, the Head of HR, and business leaders.
• Develop and maintain TC scorecards, dashboards, and monitoring tools.
• Monitor monthly performance achievements against agreed targets.
• Validate achievement data and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate quarterly TC evaluation and final scoring.
• Calculate bonus eligibility and prepare recommendations for management approval.
• Analyze TC effectiveness and employee participation.
• Recommend enhancements to improve employee motivation and business performance.
3. HR Strategic Projects & Transformation
• Develop and maintain the annual HR Strategic Project Roadmap.
• Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Prepare project charters, business cases, implementation plans, project schedules, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Monitor project milestones, budgets, risks, dependencies, and overall progress.
• Present project updates to the Head of HR and Executive Management.
• Ensure effective project governance and documentation.
• Drive organizational change management and project adoption.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across HR functions.
• Typical Projects: Performance Management System, Digital HR Transformation, HR Process Automation, HR Dashboard & Analytics, AI in HR.
4. HR Digitalization & Technology
• Lead HR digital transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate HR technology implementation with IT and vendors.
• Improve employee self-service functionality and digital HR processes.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Develop user manuals, SOPs, and training materials.
• Promote HR technology adoption throughout the organization.
• Identify opportunities to automate HR processes and improve service delivery.
5. HR Analytics & Workforce Insights
Provide meaningful HR insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Develop HR dashboards and executive reports.
• Monitor organizational HR KPIs and workforce metrics.
• Analyze performance, engagement, turnover, and productivity trends.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual HR reports.
• Present workforce analytics and recommendations to the Head of HR.
• Ensure HR data accuracy, integrity, and governance.
• Develop predictive HR analytics to support workforce planning.
6. HR Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
• Review HR policies, procedures, and workflows to improve efficiency.
• Standardize HR processes and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes through automation.
• Implement HR best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop project management standards and governance within HR.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
7. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
• Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate project implementation across HR and business functions.
• Manage relationships with HR technology vendors, consultants, and service providers.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and steering committee sessions.
• Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout project lifecycles.

Job Requirements

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Master’s Degree or MBA is preferred.
• Professional certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is an advantage.
Experience
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, Performance Management, Organizational Development, or HR Project Management.
• Proven experience managing enterprise-wide HR initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Performance Management Systems and HRIS implementation.
• Strong experience in change management and cross-functional project leadership.
