KBZMS General Insurance Company Limited is a dynamic joint venture between KBZ GI Holding Company and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance (MSI), a prominent Japanese insurer offering a comprehensive range of insurance products. The offerings include general insurance, life insurance, and financial services across ASEAN countries, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, China, Korea, India, and Taiwan.

Begun operation in June 2013 as IKBZ Insurance Co., Ltd under license no. 001, KBZMS General Insurance Co., Ltd proudly holds the distinction of Myanmar’s first officially licensed private insurance provider. The joint venture with MSI in November 2019 ushered in the establishment of KBZMS General Insurance Co., Ltd

Since October 1st, 2020, KBZMS has expanded its portfolio to include Industrial All Risks, Construction All Risk/Erection All Risk, and Bailee’s Liability Insurance products, reflecting our commitment to meeting diverse insurance needs and extending the benefits of insurance to all.

With a network spanning 23 branch offices across 21 cities including Yangon, Mandalay, Naypyitaw, Taunggyi, Pyay, Pathein, Sittwe, Magway, Meiktila, Pakkoku, Monwya, Kalay, Myitkyinar, Lashio, Bago, Mawlamyine, Myeik, Myingyan, Tachileik, Hinthada, Taungoo, KBZMS is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Myanmar by providing the right insurance solutions.
