KBZMS General Insurance, in collaboration with ActionAid Myanmar, CIAT Myanmar, and British Chamber of Commerce Myanmar, hosted the “Earthquake Risk Seminar and Preparedness Exhibition” on March 26, 2026, at Wyndham Grand Yangon, marking one year since the 2025 Mandalay earthquake.
More than a remembrance event, the seminar served as a platform for collective learning, improvement, and practical action toward a safer and more resilient future.
KBZMS remains firmly committed to leading efforts in risk awareness and preparedness. Through collaboration with InterRisk Asia Thailand to strengthen internal capabilities, as well as support for the upcoming Integrated Earthquake Resilient Building Design training this May — organized by Myanmar Green Building Society in collaboration with Myanmar Earthquake Committee and delivered by earthquake-resilient building design experts — KBZMS continues to promote resilience and preparedness across Myanmar.
