KBZMS successfully reopened its Mingalar Mandalay Branch in Mandalay on 4 June 2026.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Wunna Kyaw Htin Dr. Maung Maung Thein, former Deputy
Minister of the Ministry of Finance and Revenue and Chairman of the Myanmar Insurance Association, Regional Director for the Financial Regulatory Department (FRD) in the Mandalay Region, Daw Myat Mu, President of the Mandalay Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MRCCI), U Tin Latt, CEO of KBZMS General Insurance, U Sai Lu Mon Aung for gracing the reopening ceremony and cutting the ribbon.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all distinguished guests, valued customers, and representatives from our partner banks who joined us at today’s ceremony.
Behind today’s reopening lies a journey of resilience. Following the unexpected earthquake on 28 March 2025, KBZMS Mandalay Branch experienced significant damage and operational challenges. Our employees also faced the impact of the disaster personally while continuing to navigate challenges within the workplace.
Despite these circumstances, our teams remained committed to serving customers who had placed their trust in us. Operating continuously from a temporary office space, our employees worked tirelessly day and night to continue delivering claims services and supporting customers throughout the recovery period.
Through the resilience, teamwork, and unwavering commitment of our employees, KBZMS was able to reopen the Mandalay Branch and continue standing beside customers when it mattered most.
