Marine Hull Insurance
Why you need marine hull insurance?
If you are the owner of a vessel, you can purchase Marine Hull Insurance for your vessel against sea or river perils, such as natural disasters and piracy. It covers for your vessel not only the sea or river perils, but also the hull and machinery loss or damage.
Do sellers or traders of marine vessels also need marine hull insurance?
Not necessary. Mostly the owner can buy an annual policy, but sometimes the trader can buy a voyage policy for the hire of the vessel.
