Product Analyst
Job Purpose
The role holder is responsible for generally assisting the product team in the development and implementation of new products, redesigning of existing products. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and an eager to learn the insurance industry. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, actuarial, marketing, and IT, to ensure the successful launch and ongoing management of insurance products.
Job Description
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and assist in gathering and analyzing data to support product decision-making and strategy formulation.
- Assist in the development of new insurance products or enhancements to existing products.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative insights for product ideation and innovation.
- Conduct competitive analysis by evaluating competitor products, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
- Assist in maintaining product documentation, including product feature lists, user guides, policy forms and technical specifications.
- Ensure that all insurance products comply with relevant regulations and industry standards
- Help maintain a central repository of product-related information for easy access and knowledge sharing.
- Assist in coordinating cross-functional teams, including stakeholders from marketing, IT, underwriting, and operations.
- Assist in project management activities related to product launches and updates with timely execution of product development tasks and milestones.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related Business Program, Finance or Marketing.
- Strong analytical and attention to details.
- Adaptable, be able to manage complexity as well as competing demands
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional command in English and Burmese, both verbal and written.
