Branch Operations Associate
Job Purpose
To optimize branch performance through technical analysis and process monitoring, ensuring high-quality risk selection and operational excellence. To streamline branch operations and underwriting accuracy through data-driven reporting, risk evaluation, and strict regulatory oversight.
Job Description
- Review branch underwriting files to ensure compliance with approved technical guidelines, underwriting authority, and documentation standards.
- Branch renewal all cases income responsibility and authority, collaboration with related sales team.
- Conduct “desk-based” technical reviews of risk profiles (based on previous on-site data) to assist underwriters in informed decision-making.
- Track renewal rates for Fire, Motor, and IAR portfolios to identify retention gaps.
- Ensure all branch transactions and policy filings comply with local insurance regulations and internal audit requirements.
- Monitor and analyze renewal rates for Fire, Motor, and IAR portfolios to identify retention gaps and support corrective action planning.
- Monitor Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation for high-value IAR and Commercial Motor policies, ensuring completeness and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze claims surveys trends within the branch to provide feedback to the underwriting team (Branch Support Officer or BIC or HO) for risk selection refinement.
- Analyze branch-level claims frequency and loss trends, providing structured feedback to the underwriting team to support continuous improvement in risk selection and actual data analyst report
Job Requirements
- Any Bachelor’s degree or attending the University.
- Prior experience in (2) Years in operational, preferably in insurance or banking, is desirable.
- Basic knowledge with insurance products and service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required.
