Business Analyst
Job Purpose
The Business Analyst (BA) role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, supporting project teams during system design and development, and ensuring that delivered solutions meet business needs. The BA acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team.
Job Description
• Lead requirement-gathering sessions and process analysis
• Prepare BRD, workflow diagrams, and use cases
• Review junior BA documents and provide guidance
• Coordinate with PMs, IT teams, and vendors
• Prepare and execute UAT test cases
• Support go-live and production issues
• Provide post go-live support for applications, including troubleshooting issues and coordinating with vendors to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure requirements align with business and project goals
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
• 1–2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT/insurance projects.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of SDLC, UAT, and project governance processes.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management/BA tools (Jira, Visio, etc.).
