Co-Insurance Senior Associate
Job Purpose
To manage co-insurance operational activities, including payment processing, ensuring accuracy of records,
effective coordination with stakeholders, and timely reporting, while supporting Reinsurance operations through administrative and operational tasks, and performing Line Manager/HOD-assigned duties to support overall
departmental efficiency.
Job Description
• Handle co-insurance activities, including documentation, premium payments, receipts, and accounting.
• Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal procedures.
• Maintain accurate co-insurance records and provide timely updates to the Line Manager.
• Coordinate and participate in meetings with internal and external co-insurance stakeholders.
• Collect and organize data to support insurance reporting and analysis requirements.
• Support the Reinsurance function through documentation handling, data collection, assistance in payment processing, and report preparation.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned, and required by the team (for example: creating spreadsheets, generating PowerPoint presentations,)
• Perform other tasks, as instructed by the Line Manager/HOD, in line with departmental procedures.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Basic level of business English and communication skills.
• Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Appropriate verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and solution-focused.
• Strong work ethics and organizational skills.
• Effective time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Having interest in learning about insurance and reinsurance processes
