Sales Data Analyst
Job Purpose
The Sales Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all sales and incentive-related data within the Corporate Partner Channel. The role plays a critical function in supporting incentive calculations, financial reconciliations, sales performance analytics, and management reporting—enabling data-driven decision-making and effective operational control. This position works collaboratively with key internal stakeholders,
including Sales, Finance (Accounts Payable), HR, Cashier, BIS, and Channel Teams, to ensure that sales data, incentive payments, collections, and renewals are accurate, compliant, and aligned with overall business objectives.
Job Description
Data Validation & Reconciliation
- Review, validate, and reconcile monthly sales and incentive data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and
alignment with approved records. - Conduct manual verification of cashier sales data against dashboards and source documents to support
reconciliation and error correction. - Validate receipt and collection data particularly loan‑related collections from all regions to ensure accuracy
and proper allocation. - Track and follow up on BIS sales updates, ensuring that all adjustments, corrections, and new entries are
accurately reflected in reporting files.
Incentive Calculation & Processing
- Accurately calculate monthly sales incentives in accordance with approved incentive schemes and performance criteria.
- Submit all incentive calculation files to the Accounts Payable (AP) team for financial verification and
reconciliation. Share final, validated, and approved incentive reports with HR within prescribed timelines to ensure timely payroll processing.
Sales Performance & Target Alignment
- Validate monthly sales performance results against approved targets and business plans.
- Support the quarterly alignment and recalibration of sales targets in line with updated business strategies and planning cycles.
- Monitor sales trends, performance gaps, and variances, providing data‑driven insights and actionable recommendations to management.
Reporting & Presentation
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive sales performance reports, dashboards, and data summaries to support
business monitoring and decision-making. - Develop well-structured presentation materials for sales meetings, management reviews, and performance
discussions. - Provide timely ad-hoc and urgent data analyses based on management requests, ensuring clarity, accuracy,
and actionable insights..
Renewals & Operational Support
- Send renewal reminders and track renewal progress to ensure timely follow-up and support renewal conversion activities.
- Issue sales-closure-related email requests to Cashier and Channel Teams upon completion of each transaction to ensure accurate processing and documentation.
- Deliver ongoing data, reporting, and operational support to internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution of sales and renewal workflows.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field is required. (A Data Science
degree is beneficial but not mandatory and is not required for this role.) - Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, sales operations, incentive management, financial
reporting, or a similar analytical role. - Proven experience in data validation, reconciliation, and performance reporting, with strong attention to detailand accuracy.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data cleansing) and other data-handling tools; exposure to CRM platforms or sales systems is an advantage
