Senior Business Analyst
Job Purpose
Senior BA leads requirement gathering, process analysis, and solution design for IT and business projects. Ensures business needs are clearly documented, communicated, and translated into actionable specifications for the project and vendor teams. Mentors junior BAs and supports UAT and project implementation.
Job Description
• Lead the requirement gathering and business process analysis.
• Prepare high-quality BRDs document and process flows.
• Validate system solutions with vendors and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for clarifications and requirements.
• Support UAT planning, execution, and issue management.
• Provide post go-live support for applications, including troubleshooting issues and coordinating with vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Mentor and review work of junior BAs.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT/insurance projects.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of SDLC, UAT, and project governance processes.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management/BA tools (Jira, Visio, etc.).
