Analyst
Job Purpose
The role holder is responsible for generally assisting the product team as well as process team. This position
requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and an eager to learn the insurance industry.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, claim, sales,
marketing, Finance, L&C and IT, to ensure the successful project executions.
Job Description
• Assist in the development of new insurance products and enhancements to existing products.
• Maintain product documentation, including feature lists, policy forms, user guides, and technical
specifications, and ensure information is stored in a central repository for easy access.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Marketing, IT, Compliance, etc.) to ensure product strategy and development activities align with business objectives.
• Support project management activities related to product launches and process improvement initiatives.
• Analyze insurance processes (Claims, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Customer Service, etc.) to identify gaps, bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and optimize workflows to increase efficiency, reduce operational risks, and enhance process accuracy.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support digital transformation by aligning manual processes with new system capabilities and enhancements.
• Create, present, and maintain process documentation such as Process Flowcharts, Workflow Diagrams, and Swimlane Diagrams for clear stakeholder understanding.
• Review process documents, reports, and improvement proposals, and provide insights and recommendations to the HOD for decision-making.
Job Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing or related field.
• Experience in process management, process improvement, or a related role
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of insurance products, underwriting, and regulatory requirements is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional command in English and Burmese, both verbal and written.
