Analyst Programmer

- This role focuses on engaging in and supporting system implementation and maintenance activities across business applications.
- The role holder is responsible for developing, maintaining, and modifying system solutions to ensure they align with the stated business requirements and support overall business objectives.
Job Description
System Development
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, and delivery.
- Develop and maintain applications and databases by evaluating client needs, analyzing requirements, and building software systems using various programming languages and technologies.
- Collaborate with team members to define, design, and implement effective technical solutions.
- Organize project requirements and plan development tasks by analyzing requirements, preparing workflow charts and diagrams, and applying knowledge of system capabilities, programming logic, and technologies.
- Participate in technology initiatives, enhance system capabilities, manage requirement changes, develop and automate reports, and support business users with needed data extractions.
Supporting the Insurance Core System, Digital Solutions as stated in the business plans:
Participate in implementing and supporting digital solutions that improve business processes and integrate with the Insurance Core System.
Business As Usual Process:
- Troubleshoot and investigate help desk tickets submitted by end users.
- Provide timely support for urgent user requests and follow through until resolution.
- Prepare application issues reports and maintain relevant documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1- or 2-years’ experience in IT/ Software Development Field, preferably within the insurance industry.
Technical Skills:
Some Knowledge in the following would be preferred - Knowledge of coding languages – Java EE vs Spring, PHP, .NET, and React, Angular Material UI and Component, Cross Platform (for some plug-in materials such as Notifications, Camera, etc.)
- Database – relational database management systems (RDBMS) like MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
User Interface Design – Bootstrap, - TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS, html5
Integration – Json, Postman API Platform (Optional)
