Area Business Manager
Job Purpose
Provides leadership to the assigned Bank, overseeing insurance sales and service activities. Collaborates with Bank managers to develop sales goals for each bank , monitors progress toward those goals, and develops strategies to achieve the target.
Job Description
- To manage sales, and business objectives of KBZMS, meeting or exceeding key targets
- To plan resource allocation, and be responsible for financial viability of the company
- To effectively lead and manage the Cluster Managers in the Region, providing them with ongoing coaching and development to enable them to better manage their sales teams.
- To ensure that the sales behavior, sales ethics and sales practices of the geographic area’s sales teams comply to Company standards and regulations
- To work with the Head of Sales to define sales strategies and initiatives that will cause improvement of sales performance across the business.
Job Requirements
- University Graduate with at least 5-8 years work experience, much of this spent within a sales management role, although applicants who are outstanding in all other areas, will not be excluded if their sales experience is less than required.
- Smartly dressed, professional appearance, with a confident and respectful manner.
- Enthusiastic and energetic.
- A highly effective leader who is very articulate, intelligent, and persuasive – an excellent communicator and orator.
- Has perseverance, and focus.
- Has the ability to translate strategic vision into effective tactics that accurately reflect the company’s ethics and values.
- Innovative and makes effective decisions quickly and with authority.
