Assistant Supervisor (Travel)

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to support customers throughout the insurance sales and policy issuance process by providing accurate product information, conducting required surveys, coordinating with internal departments (Survey, Underwriting, Policy, and Finance), and ensuring timely premium collection and policy delivery. The role ensures smooth communication between customers and internal teams while delivering efficient and high-quality customer service. 

Job Description

Sales and Insurance Policy Processing 

  • Provide product explanations to walk-in and new customers and assist them in selecting suitable insurance options. 
  • Conduct policy surveys by taking required photos and gathering necessary customer information. 
  • Submit survey details to the Survey Department for assessment and follow-up on report status. 
  • Compile and send required documents to the Underwriting Department for further review. 
  • Notify customers once the Underwriting Department issues the debit note for premium payment. 
  • Guide customers through digital payment procedures when applicable. 
  • Request and collect the official receipt from the Cash Counter once the customer makes the payment. 
  • Notify the Policy Department and deliver the official receipt and final policy documents to the customer the following day. 

 Business Development & Partnership Management (MOU)

  • Manage renewal and signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreements with Travel & Tour company partners. 
  • Explain insurance products and benefits to newly onboard tour companies. 
  • Facilitate smooth signing of new MOUs to expand business partnerships and support company growth. 

 Premium Collection & Administrative Support

  • Request and collect premium payments from existing customers with active insurance policies. 
  • Ensure timely submission of collected premiums and proper documentation. 
  • Send official receipts to customers after payments are processed. 
  • Maintain accurate records of premium collections and customer follow-ups

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. 
  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing or related field preferred. 
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in sales. 
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Result-oriented with the ability to achieve sales targets.
