Branch Supervisor -Mandaly Branch
Job Purpose
To ensure the efficient and safe operation of all facility functions by supervising day-to-day maintenance, safety, and support services. This role is responsible for managing facility staff and contractors, maintaining critical building systems, ensuring compliance with safety and labor regulations, and supporting HR-related administrative processes. The position also involves managing budgets, maintaining inventories, preparing reports, and coordinating with Head Office and branches to ensure smooth operational performance and a safe, well-maintained working environment.
Job Description
- Supervise day-to-day facility operations including building maintenance, safety, cleaning and utilities.
- Monitor and ensure proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, air-coditioning, generators, elevators, and other critical systems.
- Lead and guide a team of facility staff (technicians, cleaners, security guards, driver, etc.)
- Coordinate and oversee contractors/vendors for repair, maintenance and outsourced services.
- Ensure workplace safety, health and environmental compliance,
- Manage facility-related budgets, cost control, and prepare periodic reports.
- Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
- Develop and implement regular maintenances schedules, procedures and quality checks and communications with Head office and outlets.
- Plan and perform routine maintenance on equipments and facilities and make repairs as needed.
- Maintain the inventory records for branches.
- Follow safety rules and regulations.
- Support the procurement activities.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager or Head of Branch.
- Monitoring attendance, leave, allowance, overtime and disciplinary actions.
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws and workplace regulations.
- Maintaining employee records and databases.
- Preparing HR reports needed.
Job Requirements
- Any bachelor’s degree and minimum one year of working experience (at least) 1-2 years in a supervisory role in Engineering, Facility/Property Management or related field (preferred).
- Excellent leadership communication, negotiation, and internal personal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel , PowerPoint and Email.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
