Business Development Manager
Job Purpose
Develop and implement business plans and campaign strategies, project management activities. Assist in budget planning and control regarding revenue projection as well as channel related operation expense. Develop attractive agent incentive plans and programs based on data-driven result. This includes Business analysis, strategic planning regarding agency channel regarding all kinds of data-driven analysis and evaluation agent performance, channel performance and growth.
Job Description
- Develop and implement business plans and campaign strategies, project management activities.
- Assist in budget planning and control regarding revenue projection as well as channel related operation expense.
- Develop attractive agent incentive plans and programs based on data-driven result.
- This includes Business analysis, strategic planning regarding agency channel regarding all kinds of data-driven analysis and evaluation agent performance, channel performance and growth.
- Manage and take responsibility in the strategy development and planning for the growth of the agency distribution channel in all aspects, including activities such as agent welcoming ceremonies, events, seminars, and workshops to ensure their successful execution.
- Resolve customer and agent complaints arising from unsatisfactory service and help to handle these complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop and manage media and communication plans through agency social media channels.
- Contribute to content creation and generate ideas for campaigns and events.
- Serve and function as a liaison officer or representative for matters related to agent licensing, training, and other processes, particularly with regulatory bodies including MIA intermediaries committee.
- Coordination between NIIM/FRD, training team and respective applicants regarding Agent licensing training and onboarding.
- Implement and develop in the development of strategies for agent retention and the attraction of new agents, as well as support the execution of these strategies.
- Involve and supervise in channel development in all aspect and take responsibility as per assigned duties by management
Job Requirements
- Any Graduate (Business /Economics Degree Related Preferred-MBA Candidates/Business Management Diploma/ABE)
- Experience at least 3 years in the insurance field
- Insurance Sales Strategy/Business Development/Planning Related Experience
