Business Development Officer
Job Purpose
To support the Business Development Advisory Office in driving business growth by identifying potential business opportunities, maintaining relationships with customers and business partners, coordinating sales and marketing activities, monitoring sales pipelines, and assisting in the preparation of business reports to achieve the company’s strategic objectives and insurance business targets.
Job Description
- Identify and generate new sales leads and business opportunities
- Maintain and monitor the sales pipeline, including regular follow-up with prospective clients
- Update and maintain data records in CRM tools
- Prepare and assist in the development of quarterly performance reports
- Conduct customer visits and support discussions, meetings, and negotiations with clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to support business growth
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of business development activities
Job Requirements
- Any Bachelor Degree
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify sales leads and maintain customer relationships
- Ability to prepare accurate reports, presentations, and business-related data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Good teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with internal departments
- Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
