Co-Insurance Specialist
Job Purpose
To manage and administer all co-insurance operational activities, including co-insurance payment processing,
ensuring accuracy of records, smooth coordination with stakeholders, and timely reporting, while providing
administrative and operational support to the Reinsurance function and performing HOD/Supervisor-assigned tasks
to support overall departmental efficiency.
Job Description
- Handle and administer co-insurance activities, including documentation, premium payments, receipts, and
accounting. - Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal procedures.
- Capture and maintain accurate co-insurance records and report to the line manager.
- Work and attend meetings with other related internal and external stakeholders, mainly on co-insurance
matters. - Collect, organize and prepare data to support insurance risk analysis.
- Provide support to Reinsurance function with documentation, data collection, and assisting the team in
preparing reports. - Carry out additional duties as assigned, and required by the team (for example: creating spreadsheets,
generating PowerPoint presentations,) - To perform other tasks, as instructed by Supervisor/HOD, in line with departmental procedures.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Basic level of business English and communication skills.
• Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.
• Proficiency in information technology, particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Appropriate verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and solution-focused.
• Strong work ethics and organizational skills.
• Effective time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Having interest in learning about insurance and reinsurance processes.
