Deputy Sales Training Manager
Job Purpose
The Distribution Training Manager plays an operational and tactical role in designing, delivering, and monitoring training programs for the company’s distribution channels.
The role ensures high-quality training delivery, accurate learning materials, data-driven reporting, and smooth daily operations of the training function.
Job Description
- Identify training needs in collaboration with sales channels and functional leaders.
- Design and develop training programs aligned with business priorities and field capability requirements.
- Create, maintain, and ensure accuracy of all training materials, guides, decks, and assessments.
- Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Marketing, Underwriting, and Sales teams to update content.
- Manage training logistics, participant coordination, and post-training follow-up.
- Deliver product, sales skills, and refresher training across all distribution channels.
- Lead, coach, and manage trainers to enhance facilitation quality and team effectiveness.
- Prepare training reports with insights on participation, impact, and readiness levels.
- Ensure compliance of all training activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Education, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in training, L&D, or agency development in insurance/financial services.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Good stakeholder management and basic data analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual training platforms.
