Miscellaneous Underwriting Executive
Job Purpose
Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of insurance proposals, risk assessment, calculating premiums, issuing Debit Note, preparing reports, and supporting sales channels and branches. Ensure accurate data entry, compliance, and timely processing of new, renewal, endorsement, and cancellation cases.
Job Description
- Review submitted documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance; achieve ≥90% documentation completeness and ≥90% case completion within agreed TAT.
- Enter and verify risk data into the related systems with ≥90% accuracy.
- Calculate premiums for new, renewal, and endorsement cases ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completion within the agreed TAT.
- Submit premium calculations per Delegation of Authority (DOA) and issue debit notes on time, within agreed TAT ≥90% achievement.
- Coordinate with sales channels, branches, and internal departments to collect required insurance information and support technical clarifications, ensuring ≥90% timely resolution of queries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports (premium, SI, agent commissions, IBRB, External Audit, Finance reports, etc.) with 100% accuracy and timely submission.
- Generate renewal notice lists and prepare renewal letters for sending them to respective sales channels monthly, completing ≥100% of tasks on time
- Participating in New Core System testing, data checking, and feedback activities, completing ≥90% of assigned tasks on time.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager
Job Requirements
- Undergraduate students, fresh graduates, or candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills for coordination within the team and internal departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to learn underwriting systems and processes.
- Proficient in English for written communication and reporting.
