Motor Underwriter
Job Purpose
The position of associate in the Motor Underwriting Team is responsible for supporting all underwriting activities for both new and renewal of the motor insurance business. The role ensures accurate processing of applications, verification of required documents, preparation of renewal calculations, and issuance of necessary insurance documents in the core system.
Job Description
- Process all new motor insurance applications in the core system.
- Check and maintain the renewal vehicle list monthly.
- Review vehicle information, claim history, and customer details for all renewal cases.
- Generate renewal notices and send them to the respective sales channels.
- Generate debit notes for both new and renewal cases.
- Ensure all underwriting processes comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal guidelines.
- Good communication and coordination skills with sales channels and branches.
Job Requirements
- Any bachelor’s degree; undergraduates with relevant working experience will be considered.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage routine operational tasks.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
